Course Attended: Chef & Hospitality
It’s been a busy year, but I’ve learned so much and made so many friends. I wouldn’t have done any of it if it weren’t for the Polytechnic.
I started hospitality training when I was at high school, then I went on to do various certificates and the tutor was so helpful. I moved to Mt Cook for a couple of months to work at the Hermitage after I finished studying – I learned so much and it’s an opportunity I wouldn’t have had if I hadn’t done the study.
I missed home though, so I returned a few months ago and now I’m waitressing and looking forward to what is in the future. I’ll be here for a year then I really want to try something new – I’m not sure what just yet, but I feel like I have choices now.
