Certificate in Engineering (Fitting and Turning)

I heard about the Certificate in Engineering (Fitting and Turning) while at school. I’ve always wanted to do engineering, so was keen to get into it. My place is funded by the Youth Guarantee scheme, which is a real bonus.

It’s a good course, worth doing. The tutors are always available to help when you need it. I’ve learned heaps of useful things, can now use a range of machinery and tools, and have a strong base of skills to take to an engineering apprenticeship.

Ultimately, I’d like to work in heavy industry – either in mining or oil.
