Tracey Russell

Tracey is the Programme Leader for Business as part of the Business Development Unit. She manages training in Health and Safety, First Line Management, Adult Education and Business.

Tracey has had a rich and varied career. She owned and managed a craft and giftware store in Reefton for four years, and was the assistant manager of a busy visitor’s centre.

She holds national certificates in Tourism, Employment Skills, Extractive Industries, Adult Education and Business Administration. She also holds a National Diploma in Business Administration Level 5 and a National Diploma in Business Level 5 working towards Level 6.

Tracey has been employed at Tai Poutini Polytechnic since 2004 in various roles including as a receptionist and a tutor on the Business Administration and Computing programmes. She loves helping students achieve their goals.

A Reefton resident for most of her life, Tracey enjoys gardening, quilting, knitting and photography.
